This is for the P&C side of the business as opposed to the Life and Health side. As the article states, an agent puts in the information and the program does the rest. The important issue for me is the use of an agent as opposed to the "do it yourself" approach many start-ups are attempting. At the very least the client gets an explanation of the policy from a professional and the advantage is they don't have to wait days or weeks for rates and answers from a carrier. Now whether the policy is as comprehensive as others is a separate issue since this is only part of AIG.
