Post My dogs are getting older and older. Is there any insurance for old dogs?

I have 8 dogs. 2 of them are old enough, 6 are still a month old. I'm afraid if the 2 (red devil and the white) of them will be dead soon. So other 8 will be living without parents. Because the 2 are their parents. If their parents dead will the 6 get something if i join any insurance company? So what kind of insurance should i join?

I dont know of any companies who offer a "life insurance" for dogs. Typical pet insurance companies will instead cover things like accidents and illnesses.

Sell the puppies. You'll all be better off. Put an ad in the classifieds.

    Ahh I feel your pain.

You can find insurance which covers your older pets but the prices start to go through the roof, mainly because we can keep pets alive a lot longer now days then they would have survived on their own. Unfortunately this means that old animals tend to literally be falling apart and their owners (who love them) dont want to let them go, so they get vets to fix them and well the cost is high.

If your pets require regular treatment insurance isnt really going to do you that much good at this point in their lives, they won't cover everything anyway and the monthly cost even when your pets are well is going to be prohibitive.
