Are you sure you want the cheapest plan?

I sell primarily online and do well. However, price isn't the reason our client base is growing. We are able to service our clients better by phone because we are more available to them.

That being said, many of our clients complain about the level of service and expertise they find when they call many online brokers.

Insurance rates are filed with your state's insurance department. You won't find lower rates for the same plan from a different broker or website. Shopping online can be more convenient, but your local broker can probably give you the same plan and in many instances will give you better service.

Be careful with cheapest...you usually get what you pay for.
Search for a local broker that represents all the carriers in your state. They will be able to guide you. And as Alston pointed out, rates are regulated so choose someone you are comfortable with and let them guide you.

Since Ohio health insurance rates are mandated, the lowest Ohio health insurance rates are available from the premier resource for Ohio health insurance...Affordable Ohio health insurance Plans.

Yes...I am a bit biased!

Prices are controlled by law for most life and health insurance policies. Thus, everyone offers the most affordable plans. There is some finagling that can be done with life policies, but not with health insurance. You just need to find a broker that you would like to work with.

I think to know the cheapest insurance quotes online there are two ways. One way is to ask with your friends or the people in your circle. And the other more authentic way is to do some comparison shopping to find the best price for the coverage you need. There are many websites online where you can enter a bit of information and answer a few questions and quickly get back multiple quotes from a number of different insurance providers.

Depends on the person and how much you trust them. In many ways I'd prefer to do my own research online first, then talk to someone so I have an educated viewpoint to speak from and a better idea of what I need to know.
