I am trying to organize the all the forums into sections so it is easier to navigate. I need suggestions and ideas because I am having a hard time trying to figure out what works best.
Should I separate Agent only forums from the rest of the forums? Am I missing any important insurance forums? Should I delete any of the forums? Please help me make this site better! Leave some feed back... |

I suggest looking at, as you probably already have, insurance-forums.com and how their forum structure is set up. It looks pretty similar to what you have already and seems to work pretty well. I personally am interested in how insurance education/prelicensing is being discussed. So I tend to check out the "Getting Started in Insurance" or other general forums. It's seems that it is hard to keep basic babble threads from "mucking up the waters" in specific niche forums. Good luck with the forum structure!

Oh and one thing that I like about other forums is that the have a "forum" link in the top navigation bar (somewhere in the User CP and FAQ/Rules bar area). Just my opinion but it's like a home button when someone gets lost on a web page.

I assume that anyone can get banned then create another account under a different name. Do the "Super Moderators" have other tools to help keep these people out? Or do you guys just have to read every post and make a decision?
