    Well, all my dogs were mutts growing up and if they got sick, my step father would just shot them and get another mutt.

    I'm not saying this is the right thing to do.

    But before I spend big money on a vet bill like $2,000 for a $100 dog, I would shot it. LOL

    Why would anyone spend $20 for a book about pet insurance? Seriously, just google some quotes and investigate the insurance companies.

    By the way - that's a barbaric way to put out your pet.
    I would have been traumatized as a child.
